Today we are going to showcase a Bohemian inspired boudoir session!

Bohemian Inspired Boudoir Session, Wonderland Boudoir, Dallas Boudoir Session

Over the past month we have showed you stlyized boudoir sessions create by Alexis K Coats with wardrobe provided by Apricot Lane of Dallas.  The hair and makeup is by Jill of #Glambition.  Each session represented something different.  Ciara with Bridal Boudoir.  Jolesa with Strength, and now we have Jenna serving use that Bohemian realness.

For Jenna we wanted to give a more sultry sexy.  Jill opted for huge crimped hair and makeup that really made her blue eyes pop.  In her first outfit Alexis dressed Jenna is a 90’s esque  full length white lace dress.  On her shoulders drapes a beautiful black embroidered kimono.

As far as accessories go the motto was, “Too much is never enough.”  Alexis had her rocking the stone bangles and dripped crystal pendants around her neck.

However if you really want the details of what she wore be sure to check out our post on How to Style a Bridal Boudoir Shoot.  I believe this will come in handy for you regardless if you're getting married or not.

Three Things You Can Learn from Jenna

1. It’s okay to be nervous.

Bohemian Inspired Boudoir Session, Wonderland Boudoir, Dallas Boudoir Session

Jenna was really nervous about her session because she doesn’t model and has never done boudoir.  However, she did place her trust in myself and Alexis, who also models.  Alexis gave Jenna very detailed instruction to help her out and ease her fears.  She even gave her some excercises to practice at home for her next photo shoot.

2. It’s Okay to Take Control.

Believe it or not Jenna's eyelashes are 100% organic.  She takes such good care of them and doesn’t let anyone, but herself, touch her eyelashes.  Sometimes ladies are scared to speak up, but what I liked about Jenna is what she wasn’t and was able to verbalize what she does and does not want to do.  If you don't feel comfortable or have an idea that better suits you don't be scared to speak up because your photographer wants you to feel as comfortable as possible.

3. Listen.

Jenna may have been nervous but you would have never noticed because she took the time and listened to us and own her photos.  Like Jolesa, Jenna listened with intent so she was able to pull off some of the mose beautiful pictures.  When you take the time and listen to your photographer about posing and how to do the poses your photos will come out amazing.

Without further ado here are Jenna’s photos.

How to Showoff Your Regal Beauty in a Boudoir Session

At Wonderland Boudoir located in Dallas, Texas we believe that each boudoir session has an underlying element that frames the theme of the shoot.  In Jolesa’s case you can clearly see that it’s power, success, and regal beauty.

Jolesa did an amazing job with her session.  This petite powerhouse really brought her A game to her boudoir session.  She tuned everything out and focused on me and the direction of her session.  I believe this is why this has been one of my best sessions to date.

One of my favorite things about Jolesa was her attention to detail and how she listened with intent to follow directions. This made her photos come out so amazing.  She gave me full creative control in order to obtain beautiful photos for her boudoir session.

HAIR.

How to showoff your regal beauty in a boudoir session. Dallas Boudoir Photography. Wonderland Boudoir

Having unique hair for your boudoir session that truly compliments your personality is always a good idea.  In Jolesa’s case she’s rocking a natural hair mohawk with Amber tips.  Let’s all be honest, not all women can get away with this.  Jolesa has an incredibly strong face that can handle such a short haircut.

STYLE.

Styling for a boudoir session is incredibly important. While we don’t always have a professional stylist with us we do take the craft very serious.  In Jolesa’s case we had a light and dark look.  My favorite pieces from each of her sessions are the kimonos that you can find at Apricot Lane.  Her caramel complexion has the advantage of being very versatile in the fashion world.  Because of this it was easy to go from white to black with her.

The white outfit is very laid back and casual with a pinch of seduction sprinkled in.  She was able to balance that power with sexy.  This is something we should all be doing in our everyday life anyway.

In her second boudoir outfit she is wearing all black while rocking an intense statement necklace.  The statement necklace was the perfect idea because it presented the subject and the clothes very well.  It helped bring out the powerhouse element that Jolesa was channeling.

3 Tips for a Successful Boudoir Session:

1.) Listen to your boudoir photographer.

During your boudoir session it’s imperative to listen to your boudoir photographer.   The boudoir photographer’s job is to showcase and enhance your photos with direction, styling, and posing.  When you don’t commit to what your photographer has to say it could result in lackluster photos.  There are a ton of weird angles the photographer has you in.  Some points you may feel as though you’re a pretzel and feel ridiculous.  However, don’t fret.  Your photographer knows your angles and is only trying to make your photos worth loving.

2.) Celebrate Your Authentic Self

How to showoff your regal beauty in a boudoir session. Dallas Boudoir Photography. Wonderland Boudoir

Jolesa rocked amMohawk.  This mohawk was beautiful and it authentically represented who she is as a person, unique, fun, and outgoing.  However, celebrating your style does not just include hair... it can be tattoos, piercings, or fashion.  If you cover your tattoos up the session may not feel as special to you as they should.  Be true to yourself and you will be happy with your results.

3.) Style is Important

Boudoir fashion will make or break a session.  I also advise ladies to try on their lingerie before arriving at your boudoir session.  In order to have a functional style you have to try and figure what you want to represent. The outfit’s that you bring to the session must be something that compliments the studio or on locations scenery.

4 Tips for a Successful Bridal Session & Bridal Boudoir Lookbook

Bridal Boudoir Lookbook plus 4 Tips for a Successful Bridal Boudoir Session. Dallas Bridal Boudoir Photography

Bridal boudoir in Dallas is a huge thing and it's important that you pick a photographer that will match your aesthetic and vision.  Here at Wonderland Boudoir in Dallas we love doing Bridal Boudoir!  Its fun, sexy, and a great gift for your husband to be.

Bridal Boudoir Lookbook plus 4 Tips for a Successful Bridal Boudoir Session. Dallas Bridal Boudoir Photography

Here we have Ciarra as our bride.  The wedding dress is from Simply Bridal.  Isn't this dress breathtaking?  Would you believe me if I told you that the purchase price of this dress is less than $500?!  That's without a discount!  The name of this dress is Lianne and can be found HERE!  To know more details about this dress and her full look I did a really detailed post last week about how to style a Boudoir Wedding Session

Today I wanted to provide a full spread of Ciara's Bridal Boudoir session and 4 Tips for a Successful Bridal Boudoir Session

Tips for a Successful Bridal Session

 1.) Include the Dress

Bridal Boudoir Lookbook plus 4 Tips for a Successful Bridal Boudoir Session. Dallas Bridal Boudoir Photography

You spent a large sum of money on a dress that you may only wear once. This dress may end up living in your closet until it’s donated it or passes on to a daughter or a family friend.  I think taking as many pictures in your dress, even prior to your wedding is a good idea.

A boudoir session is an excellent place to get a lot of detailed shots of your dress.  A wedding dress has tons of detailing and it's important to get as much detailing as possible.  Also, having a boudoir session done in your gown allows you to show off you sensual and sexy time to your future husband in a way that expresses commitment to only him.  You have most likely dieted and worked out to get the perfect body for you dress.  It’s your time to shine and look amazing in your dress.

2.) Lingerie that Matches the Dress

Bridal Boudoir Lookbook plus 4 Tips for a Successful Bridal Boudoir Session. Dallas Bridal Boudoir Photography

Styling and aesthetics are everything in photoshoots.  This isn't the first time I have stated this and it won't be the last.  For your boudoir session to be impactful it's important to have clothes complement each other, the decor of the room, and the reason for the session.  Most importantly, your lingerie should complement your dress.

3.) Accessories Make your Boudoir Experience Unique

How you decide to pair your accessories to your dress is an individual decision that will be based off many factors. One of those factors being your personal style. However, I have to say that if your lingerie and dress are really detailed then it may be better to not go with too much bling. Yes, I know the Texan ideology is that there can never be too much bling… but in the case of your boudoir photos, it can.

On the other hand if your dress and lingerie are really plain then bring the bling on!

4.) DO NOT TAN or GET A SPRAY TAN THE DAY OF OR BEFORE YOUR BOUDOIR SESSION

Bridal Boudoir Lookbook plus 4 Tips for a Successful Bridal Boudoir Session. Dallas Bridal Boudoir Photography

Getting a tan or a spray tan a day or two ahead of your boudoir session is a complete mistake!

Spray tans have a tendency to leave residue.  If you are wearing white then the last thing you want to do before your big day is have orange marks over you dress or our sets.  If you must have a spray tan please schedule to have it done at least 5 days before your planned boudoir session.

Tans are also not a good idea because they have a tendency to make you look orange in photos.  This causes a huge issue in post processing work for the photos and they may not be able to correct your skin complexion due to the unnatural skin darkening.

I hope these four tips helped you out before your boudoir session.  Including your wedding dress, accessorizing, wearing the right lingerie, and not tanning before your session will help lead to a successful bridal boudoir session.

I know... You want to see more photos of Ciarra so lets go!

5 Sexy Items of His to Include in Your Boudoir Session

Boudoir Photography Dallas, 5 of His things to bring to a Boudoir Session, Wonderland Boudoir

When it comes to boudoir many woman want to include some type of reminder of their significant others to include in their photos.  I believe in this method because it shows that you really considered this person in your session even though they are not physically with you.

In today’s post I will give you 6 ideas that you may want to considering bringing with you to your pending boudoir session.

1.) His Shirt

This tried and true methods is always a winner.  A woman in a man’s button is always a sexy idea because it brings a sense of longing into the photos.  A man loves to know that you miss him.  He will also love your scent in his clothes.  They all do.

Another idea would be to bring his favorite t-shirt.  I believe t-shirts are often overlooked and the default has always been the button up.  However, T-shirts, to me, are way more intimate as they are work in a more every day and casual basis.  Seeing you in his favorite tee is a sure fire way to hit a homerun in his book.

Also, if your beau it a peace officer, firefighter, or athlete I suggest bringing his uniform with you to wear.  There is something to sexy and coy when a woman does this.

Tip: Rather if you choose to wear his button up or t-shirt be aware that both items may swallow you up because men are typically larger than women. Therefore be prepared to tie the button up or t-shirt to fit to your body better shape to your body better.

2.) Lingerie He has Purchased for You

This is a no brainer.  Lingerie is always important for a boudoir session, but it’s even better if you are wearing a piece that he picked out for you.  Also consider wearing his favorite color of lingerie in your set.

3.) Anything Monogrammed

To really reel it in I suggest wearing anything of his that is monogrammed.  This would include cuff links, hats, or even customized jerseys he might own.  Seeing his name or initials in these photos will make him feel really honored and know that this is HIS woman making this for him.

4.) Wear his Favorite Team Jersey

Many men have a ride or die team that they love.  Show him some love by wearing that shirt, jersey, or ball cap in one of your photos.

Tip: Crank up the sexy by wearing thigh high sport socks.  Trust me your man will love them in the photos, but he would love them better in person.  My favorite version of this sock can be found in American Apparel.  Check them out HERE!

5.) Wear Jewelry He has given You

Gifted jewelry is a sign commitment.  Unless our man is Floyd Mayweather he’s not passing out engagement rings and diamond necklaces to every girl that he meets. Wear important pieces the he has given to you.  What was the first necklace?  Or how about earrings he has given to you.  Yes, lets not forget that engagement ring.  Be sure to wear pieces of jewelry on you that he gave to you as constant reminders of your life.

Men LOVE to feel appreciated and a great way is to include him in your photos even if he’snot  going to be there.  Wearing his team jersey, favorite color, his favorite tee, or even lingerie that he picked out for you is a great idea because it will make him feel the love that you have for him.  The photos will be individual to him and no one else.

In the comment below please let me know what other items a woman should consider bringing to her boudoir session where she can include her man?

Wonderland Boudoir is a Boudoir Photography studio in Dallas, Texas and we believe bridal boudoir is an excellent wedding gift for your future spouse.  Today we are going to show you a number of excellent outfits that would be great for your bridal boudoir session.  Later this month you will be able to see more photos of each woman’s session!

Most of these pieces can be found at Apricot Lane of Dallas.  The wedding dress can be found on SimplyBridal.com.  The lingerie on Ciarra can be found at Victoria’s Secrets.  All these pieces are great for a summer bridal session.  They are light, airy, and sexy.

Ciarra

How to Style a Bridal Boudoir Session, Dallas Boudoir Photography, Boudoir Photography Dallas, Wedding Boudoir, Style, Fashion

If you guys watched Wednesdays’s boudoir bridal video then you will remember Ciarra.  Ciarra did an amazing job in the videos.  For Ciarra we went for light, airy, and fun.

Wedding Dress: The Wedding Dress was provided by Simply Bridal.  It’s the Lianne gown.  This is a beautiful summer gown.  The halter allows the bride to be comfortable and not over heat in an outside summer wedding. The material of the dress is chiffon.   The silver band around the waist is beautiful as it glistens against the sunlight bringing all the attention back to the bride.  The train is full and dramatic.  This Grecian inspired gown will having you feeling like a Greek Goddess as you walk down the aisle.

Shoes: The Simply Bridal wedding dress is so dramatic we decided to have Ciarra rock nude strappy heels and a bit of bling on the toes and ankles.

Accessories: Since the dress is a halter we kept it very simple with the jewelry pieces.  We decided to go with dramatic chandelier earrings that were more on the nude and pastel side.  On her fingers Ciarra rocked her engagement ring.

Makeup & Hair: It’s so rare that I get to work with women who have short pixie cuts. I have to say that Ciarra’s haircut really worked with the dress and outfit.  Jill, the makeup artist, added a long bang to the front that shaped her head.  The lips are a pouty nude pink color and the eyes are a pastel smoky eye that really brings out her blue eyes.

Wedding Boudoir Look

How to Style a Bridal Boudoir Session, Dallas Boudoir Photography, Boudoir Photography Dallas, Wedding Boudoir, Style, Fashion

Lingerie & Kimono: The lingerie for this shot was from Victoria’s Secret .  The pastel blue works for Ciarra’s fair skin and adds that element of “something blue.” With the soft light coming into the studio it really adds a taste of timeless beauty.

The kimono was from Apricot Love of Dallas.  A kimono is a perfect way of looking sexy while still covering up.  The nude kimono and beautiful botanical flowers really highlights Ciarra’s skin, accessories, and make up.

The color palate here was pastel pink, pastel blue, and gold.  This is beautiful combination for a summer boudoir session.

Jenna

How to Style a Bridal Boudoir Session, Dallas Boudoir Photography, Boudoir Photography Dallas, Wedding Boudoir, Style, Fashion

We went at little more Boho with Jenna.  Summer is a great time to be free and comfortable.  Alexis styled Jenna in a long white lace maxi dress and a black kimono with cream detailing.

Dress & Kimono:  Both the dress and kimono are compliments of Apricot Lane Dallas.  The dress is beautiful and has a long split that allows Jenna’s right knee to peek through.  The kimono is roomy and sits comfortably off her shoulders.

Accessories:  Alexis decided to stack the accessories and did an excellent job doing so.  She arranged the necklaces by chain length. This not only helps highlight each piece but allows them not to tangle.  The long necklace has a bit of dramatic flair and amps up the boho realness of the outfit.  The crystal pendent adds a pinch of Gypsy.

Let’s talk about those bangles though!  I am one who LOVES rock jewelry. I love the way that Alexis stacked the bangles on Jenna’s arm.  Again, a fun way to add texture to such a low key outfit.

We can’t see them in this photo, but Jenna rocked a pair of starburst stud earrings.

Hair & Makeup: Jill decided to be a little more playful with this outfit.  Adding the dark mascara really made Jenna’s sky blue eyes pop (and yes, those are her REAL lashes, I know JEALOUS).  Jill gave Jenna gold lipstick and, like Ciarra, kept her makeup simple on the face.

Second Outfit

How to Style a Bridal Boudoir Session, Dallas Boudoir Photography, Boudoir Photography Dallas, Wedding Boudoir, Style, Fashion

All the accessories and makeup stayed the same.  The only thing that changed was the way Alexis styled Jenna in a nude lingerie set.  There isn’t any padding and since the nude matches her skin it makes the look even more sexy because it adds an idea of implied nudity without actually getting naked or posing without clothes.

Karla

How to Style a Bridal Boudoir Session, Dallas Boudoir Photography, Boudoir Photography Dallas, Wedding Boudoir, Style, Fashion

For Karla we went for a Moroccan inspired look.  Her beautiful complexion allows us to be really playful with color and style.

Outfit: For the top we used a swimsuit top. YES!  Swimsuits make excellent pieces for boudoir.  Swimsuits are often overlooked because people associate them with water and not the bedroom.  That’s a mistake because there are plenty of cute swimsuits that would be great for a boudoir sessions.

Believe it or not the bottoms are a series of scarves knotted together to create the illusion of a skirt!  I know! That why Alexis was onset because she’s able to see outside the box.  It’s important to be as creative as possible with your fashion because styling will really make your photos pop for boudoir.

Accessories:  We threw everything on her including the kitchen sink (Okay, what does that really mean anyway?).  Karla has such beautiful broad shoulders so she’s able to handle a lot of layering.  Her body was a blank canvas.  Sometimes too much color and texture is a good thing.

Her tattoo just added to the fun of the outfit.  A lot of girls believe that they need to cover up their tattoos for a boudoir session.  I’m here to tell you that’s simply not true.  Do not cover up your tattoo if you love it.  A tattoo is part of who you are so it’s important to let it be an important element in your session.

We also added the huge rock bracelets that you saw in Jenna’s set in Karla’s.

Hair & Makeup: Jill went with a hard press with Karla’s hair and styled at an asymmetrical angle.  Her makeup was a mix of wine and burgundy.  Jill made the center of the lips a deeper wine color which really made Karla’s eyes pop against the gold eyeliner.  I thought that was just so damn cool.  Makeup artist are so talented.

Second Look

How to Style a Bridal Boudoir Session, Dallas Boudoir Photography, Boudoir Photography Dallas, Wedding Boudoir, Style, Fashion

For Karla’s second look we just brought it back a bit without losing the element of color. Alexis chose a colorful and festive bib necklace paired with a sheer linen blouse.  We traded out the series of skirts for one huge floral scarf.

Jolesa

How to Style a Bridal Boudoir Session, Dallas Boudoir Photography, Boudoir Photography Dallas, Wedding Boudoir, Style, Fashion

Jolesa just KILLED this shoot!  I have to say that this look was one of my favorites of the day.  Jolesa embodies a powerful version of sexy.  When she walks in the room there is an energy one simply cannot deny.  This outfit really helped bring that out.

Lingerie & Kimono: Everything here was found at Apricot Lane Dallas.  The white kimono really pops against Jolesa’s caramel complexion.  The orange lacing of the kimono helps highlight her warm undertones without it being too much.  While Jenna wore a nude lingerie set Jolesa is wearing white version.  Her bottoms are a fun take on scallop shorts that were really popular last summer.  The material is a comfortable that's perfect a boudoir set or for warm summer evenings watching the sunset.

Accessories:  The layering game is real y’all! Alexis followed the same layer technique she did with all the previous outfits.  She stacked the jewelry based on chain length. Silver really pops against darker skin so placing these beautiful pieces against Jolesa’s skin was a no brainer.  Unlike the other looks Alexis chose to have her rock one single bracelet instead of a stack.

Makeup & Hair:  Jolesa styled her own hair.  She’s rocking a badass Mohawk with gold tips.  This really works for her because she has a face that can carry a look like this.  It’s very important to have strong facial features if you are considering going for a pixie cut or Mohawk.

Lips were a stain wine color with an eye look to match.  The eyes were are a light wine and pink smokey eye.

Second Look

How to Style a Bridal Boudoir Session, Dallas Boudoir Photography, Boudoir Photography Dallas, Wedding Boudoir, Style, Fashion

For Jolesa’s second look we kept the same makeup because is transitioned perfectly.  When picking out a makeup look it’s important to pick one that works with multiple looks or is an easy update without having to redo your entire face.  Most of time the makeup artist will do your lighter look first and then move you on to a more intense face.

Lingerie & Kimono:   I love the black and burgundy in this look because it sest a more moody tone for this session. While this is a very strong look the kimono balances a very light weight and feminine impact.  Deciding against wearing shoes makes Jolesa more approachable in her photos.

Accessories:  Alexis decided on an intense statement necklace for this outfit.  This works as a very hard piece of armor that adds to the African Goddess vibe she’s showering us with.

That’s it!

Don’t worry!  You guys will see more photos from each one of these women later this month.

I want to thank Jill for doing all the hair, Alexis for doing all the styling, Simply Bridal for the gorgeous gown, and Apricot Lane for all the beautiful clothes for this series!

Dallas Boudoir Photography: A Class Act, Subtley Sexy Boudoir

Dallas Boudoir Photography, Class Act, Wonderland Boudoir, Boudoir Dallas Photography

Ms. K is nothing short of a class act!

While she still wanted to be sexy she wanted to be covered up a bit more.  Yes, at Wondelrand Boudoir, a Dallas Boudoir Photography studio,  you can do that for a boudoir session.  A boudoir session isn’t classified by how much you take off it’s classified by how much fierceness you bring to you session.

Dallas Boudoir Photography, Class Act, Wonderland Boudoir, Boudoir Dallas Photography, Dominican Girls, Fashion, Photography

While each girl showed a different element I believe that Ms. K was a clear class act.  I have to admit that her outfit was on point.  I’m not sure where all the pieces came from, but I will say they were excellently curated.

For her first look Ms. K rocked a cute black sequin baby doll dress.  This was a great choice because it really highlighted her legs.  Ms. K has excellent skin and a beautiful complexion so her choosing this dress as a final selection for her boudoir shoot was a great idea.

The dress was also beautiful because it showed off her beautiful shoulder tattoo.  As I said in the Girl Ink post I believe that tattoos are awesome for boudoir sessions and that you should defiantly show them off as they will make your session more unique.

Dallas Boudoir Photography, Class Act, Wonderland Boudoir, Boudoir Dallas Photography, Dominican Girls, Fashion, Photography

The second outfit really brought sexy CEO realness!  There are very few pieces in our everyday corporate clothes collections that are hotter than a pencil skirt.  Since 2008 pencil skirts have made a real comeback and they are here to stay.  If you’re looking for a way to be super hot at work without wearing tight clothes the pencil skirt should be your go to piece.  The fact that the pencil skirt was leather really help highlight her gorgeous curves and make the look that much better for her boudoir sessions.

She stepped it up 180% with this beautiful red corset.  This was a great choice because the red corset really pops again her golden undertone tan skin.  Corsets are great way to shape the body into a beautiful hour glass figure.

The jewelry was kept to a minimum because in boudoir photography we like concentrate on the body and face.  Too much jewelry can be very distracting.  Ms. K wore simple stud earrings and a dainty necklace that added highlights her beautiful décolletage area.

Dallas Boudoir Photography, Class Act, Wonderland Boudoir, Boudoir Dallas Photography, Dominican Girls, Fashion, Photography

The hair is by the beautiful and talented to Dominique of ManeAffairInc.  ManeAffair can be found in Mesquite, Texas.  Dominique is one of the top talent in the DFW area and is one of the most versatile hair artist in the city.  I couldn’t recommend her more because her work is second to none.  To see more of Dominique’s work please visit her website and Instagram page.

Ms. Alessandra did the makeup for Ms. K.   Since the outfits for her boudoir session is a timeless sexy she gave her makeup that would transition with years to come.  Her look is very natural but still added a pop of fun with the lips.  Can we TALK about the face contouring for a second?  Ms. K already has some of the most beautiful cheekbones I have ever seen, but Alessandra really made them stand out to add a dash of pop to her photos.  Don’t you think that Alessandra should start a YouTube channel?  I think so too.  To see more of Alessandra’s work please visit her site and Instagram page.

Without further ado here are more photos of the beautiful Ms. K.

Dallas Boudoir Photography: Girl Ink, Tattoo Boudoir Session

Dallas Boudoir Photography, Girls with Tattoos, #Boudoir, #Dallas, #Photography

One of the most common questions I get asked is if tattoos will be okay for a boudoir session.  My answer?  Tattoos are bloody awesome for boudoir sessions! Tattoos make your sessions more unique and always add a dash of edginess to all your photos.

Ms. X has some of the best tattoos to date and they really brought an extra dose of wow to each frame.

Dallas Boudoir Photography, Boudoir Photography Dallas, All Black Everything, Fashion, Makeup, Tattoos,

From her dark hair and very fair skin she brought the element of fierce.  What I loved most?  The fact she was a tall girl who was not scared to rock heels.  Heels, no matter your height, always make legs look toner and taller, and make your posture look better… and that’s always a good thing.

The makeup for Ms. X boudoir session was on point.  Again, Alessandra did the makeup.  She decided to go a little more edgy with Ms X and give her purple eyebrows and reverse ombre lips.  How cool does that look?  I have NEVER seen reverse ombre lips and Alessandra dropped the mic on it.  To see more of Alessandra’s work please visit her site at MakeupartistDFW.com or follow her on Instagram at Alessandra_MUA.

Ms. X went for a dynamic all black look. The girls all came with coordinating outfits.  Having a theme for your boudoir party is always a fun idea.  It will be great for you and your girlfriends to look back and smile.

Ms. X wore a great outfit.  In her first look she wore a cute black crop top and skirt set.  I suggested that she add the oversized black floppy hat. The hat added a sense of glamor and fun to her photos.  However her 5 inch wedge spiked heels added the badass factor.

Her second session she decided to go more street. She rocked a letterman jacket from Forever21 and a beautiful sheer white bra set from American Apparel.

Her posing game was for the Gods!  This whole group was amazing because once they dropped all the fear and insecurity the ultimate fierceness came out.  If you are doing a boudoir session then leave all your insecurities outside.  It’s all about you.  No one is judging you.  The photographer is not looking at your faults.  The only goal is to make you look as beautiful as possible.

The photographer will attempt to accomplish this through hair, makeup, styling, and posing.  The same as we did here with Ms. X.

Without Further Ado, Ms. X
